Honey Pecan Chicken

One of my ALL TIME Favorites!  SO Decadent !  Make it as spicy as you like.  The honey and Nuts are a Perfect Combination to round out this Protein Rich Dish!

2 chicken breast, butterfly through to make 4 pieces

Soak in buttermilk for 1 hour. Discard milk when done

1/2 cup buckwheat flour

½ t. salt

1 t. garlic powder

½ t. cayenne

Sift ingredients together in shallow bowl.

½ cup butter

¼ cup agave or honey

½ cup chopped pecans

Dredge chicken in flour mixture and let sit 20 minutes.

Brown chicken in oil, space evenly and then cook slowly. Remove from pan.

In pan add butter, honey or agave. Simmer a few minutes and add chopped pecans.  Pour over chicken and serve
